Google Trader launches in Nigeria and gets a new look

Posted on 01:42 by Unknown
En Français

Having now brought Trader to several African countries, we are excited to launch Google Trader in Nigeria today. We are particularly excited about making Trader available in Africa’s most populous country, with tens of millions of users online, and a very large number of small businesses and entrepreneurs.

Google Trader provides a simple way for individuals and businesses to reach people who are searching for products or jobs online. Google Trader already contains listings from thousands of Nigerian businesses. You can use your phone or computer to browse the growing collection of cars, real estate, jobs, phones or just about anything else.

Our goal is to make posting and searching for products, services or jobs a simple, fun and engaging experience. Today we are also rolling out several improvements to Google Trader across all countries. The search results page has a new look that focuses on the task that matters most: quickly finding the most relevant listings. Listings now include some more information such as price, location and short snippets. We have made a number of other changes as well, organized the photos and made it easier to find the information you are looking for.

We hope you find the improvements useful. Visit Google Trader for Nigeria on your phone or computer at google.com.ng/africa/trader . Or visit Google Trader for your favorite country: Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, and Uganda and send us your feedback.
