From the Seven Hills to Table Mountain

Posted on 02:42 by Unknown
En Français

Last month we were in Kampala, the “city built on seven hills” for g|Uganda 2012 and it was fun all the way (the venue was an amusement park, after all!). We were joined by more than 600 developers, tech entrepreneurs and small business owners who participated in presentations, hands-on workshops and panel discussions.

Next month the Google team will be travelling to South Africa’s “Mother City”, Cape Town, famous for its Table Mountain, but also for its vibrant tech community which has led some to refer to it as Silicon Cape. On 12 and 13 November 2012 we will host our annual two-day g|South Africa. On Day 1 we invite developers to learn about technologies that include HTML5 and the Google API platform, as well as explore some new ideas in development for mobile, product development  and improving user experience. On Day 2 we turn our attention to business owners, marketers, publishers and entrepreneurs and focus on the Google tools available for scaling your business, marketing it online, tracking success and measuring Return on Investment (ROI).

As always seats are limited, so apply now. See you there!
