What's hot in South Africa right now?

Whether you are searching from your computer or your mobile phone, we strive to deliver the most fresh and relevant search results. Sometimes, though, knowing the latest questions is equally important to knowing the latest answers.

Today we are making Hot Searches available for mobile users in South Africa. Wondering what’s on top of the minds of South Africans? We've applied some algorithms to highlight the latest trends from the millions of aggregated searches conducted by South Africans each day. The result is available on your phone, just few clicks away and is updated several times a day.

As I am writing this post, on Sunday morning, three diverse topics emerge on top of the latest trends list: Poetry, the latest heavyweight boxing game and Spanish football. After all, there are many ways to start your Sunday:

Hope you will find it as exciting and insightful as we do. Try it out from your phone at http://www.google.co.za/m/trends.
