Posted on 06:30 by Unknown
En Français

Everyday, tourists, businessmen and residents of Kenya use Google to search for various businesses - hotels, restaurants, traders, tour operators etc., only to be disappointed. But not anymore. We are delighted to announce the launch of local search in Nairobi. So the next time you search for hotels, restaurants or even for Kenyan Currency/forex, just go to Google Maps. This launch makes Kenya the first Sub-Saharan African country to have local search integrated into Google Maps and is hence a major milestone in our endeavor to provide good user experiences to our African users.

And note, if your business/service is not present in our database, just add it to Google Map Maker - it's easy. Remember that thousands of people everyday are looking for businesses on Google.
